"Easy enough once you get used to it"
I’ll admit, I wasn’t expecting to like the xTool software much at first. Some of the menus feel a little clunky and take a bit of poking around, but it was still easy to figure out. It does what I need for my projects, so overall I can’t complain too much.

"Not exactly the crisp engraving I was promised"
I picked up an xTool thinking I’d get nice, clean engraving results, but unfortunately that was a bit optimistic. The lines came out uneven, some areas looked faded, and no amount of tweaking the settings seemed to magically fix it. I ended up burning through way more material than I expected just trying to get something decent. I’m sure it works beautifully for some people, somehow, but for me the engraving quality was disappointing.

"My gut was right about the delivery"
I had a feeling the delivery might be a bit of a hassle, and unfortunately my instinct was right. My order showed up late, and the tracking barely updated along the way, which made it hard to know what was going on. Support did reply when I reached out, but overall I wouldn’t say the delivery felt very reliable.

"Feels safe, though I wish it was a bit cheaper"
Overall, I’m happy with it. The safety features make me feel a lot more comfortable using it, and it works fine once everything is set up. The setup did take longer than I expected, which was a little frustrating. For the price, I was hoping it would be a bit easier to get going, but it does the job.

"I was having trouble getting my M1 to..."
I was having trouble getting my M1 to connect after a software update, i wasn’t totally sure if submitting a ticket would get me anywhere. But they got back to me faster than I expected, and the steps they sent were actually clear and easy to follow.

The support person stuck with me until everything was working again, which I really appreciated. I had to ask a few basic questions, and they never made me feel silly for it. Overall, I’m really happy with the help I got from xTool

"My xTool order got mixed up??"
I was excited to get my xTool order, but when it showed up, one accessory was the wrong item and another one was missing completely?? Support did sort it out eventually, which I appreciate, but it still pushed my project back and made the whole thing more frustrating than it needed to be.

"Helpful community, but responses can take a bit"
Not gonna lie, the xTool community has been helpful overall. When I’ve gotten stuck, people do share tips and try to point you in the right direction. That said, the answers can be a little hit or miss, and sometimes I had to wait longer than I hoped. It’s not bad, I just wish the support info was easier to find in one place.

"Whoever packed this did a terrible job"
The box showed up completely crushed, and the parts were all shifted around inside. I’m annoyed because this feels like it was either packed carelessly or handled with zero effort. Luckily the machine still seems okay, but it definitely wasn’t because of whoever was responsible for the packaging.

"Works Great… When It Feels Like It"
I really wanted to love my xTool, but the reliability has been a headache. Some days it cuts perfectly and I’m like, okay, this is awesome. Then out of nowhere it’ll stop, drop the connection, or need to be restarted over and over again. Like, make it make sense. Support did get back to me, but it took a while and didn’t really solve the actual problem. For what this costs, I expected something way more dependable. It’s not completely useless, but I definitely wouldn’t trust it with bigger jobs.

"Can’t get basic spare parts or speak to anyone"
I’ve been trying to get some basic spare parts, but they’re never in stock. What makes it even more frustrating is that there doesn’t seem to be any real person to talk to about it. It’s all automated responses and dead ends, which just makes the whole experience feel hopeless

"Pretty manageable after a little trial and error"
I was a little worried it was going to be harder to figure out, and I did expect the instructions to be a bit clearer in a few spots. But the xtool.com tutorials helped a lot, and the setup wasn’t too bad overall. After spending a weekend with it, I felt comfortable using it

"Really happy with this machine"
I’m really impressed so far. The build feels super sturdy and solid, and it gives me a lot of confidence using it. No complaints at all right now, I’m genuinely happy with it...

The machine cuts well as long as I actually take the time to clean everything and make sure it’s lined up right. I’ll be honest, I sometimes put off the maintenance because I’m busy or just not in the mood, and then it starts feeling like a hassle. There’s more lens cleaning and part checking than I expected. It’s not a bad machine at all, but the upkeep can get a little annoying if you’re like me and don’t always stay on top of it...

"The docs made this waaay harder than it needed to be"
I got frustrated trying to follow the instructions. They were soooo unclear, and I ended up spending way more time figuring things out than I expected

"Not really worth it for me"
I feel like I paid way, way too much for what I ended up getting. The machine is fine, like it works okay, but once you start adding the extras and parts, the cost adds up fast, really fast. For the price, I expected a lot more value. I wouldn’t buy it again.

"Works with most things I’ve tested so far"
I’ve been happy with my xTool overall. I’ve tried it on wood, acrylic, and leather, and it handled all of those without much trouble. Coated metal took a lot more messing around with the settings than I expected, so it’s not totally perfect, but it’s still been really useful to have. I’m still figuring out what works best with different materials, so... yeah, overall I’m glad I got it.

"Pretty decent overall, with one small hiccup"
Most of the accessories fit my setup just fine, so I’m happy with it overall. I did have one clamp that gave me a bit of trouble, which was annoying, but not enough to ruin the whole experience.

"Support helped, but something felt a little off"
I had to reach out to xtool support because I was having a setup issue with my machine. The first response took a couple of days, which felt longer than it should have, and it kind of made me wonder if something was off with the support process.

Once someone finally got back to me, they were friendly and did help me get things figured out. I did have to send photos and explain the issue more than once though, so it wasn’t exactly smooth.

Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but it didn’t feel great either. They did solve the problem in the end, but faster replies and a clearer back-and-forth would make a big difference

"Cuts well, but I expected an easier start"
I’ve been using my xtool mostly for cutting plywood and acrylic, and I’ll admit, the cuts are clean once you finally get the settings figured out. But i was a little disappointed with how much trial and error it took to get there. Some of the thicker wood still needed a second pass, which was kind of frustrating. Overall, I’m happy with how it cuts now, but I really wish the starting settings had been more accurate right out of the box.

"Delivery was slower than I’m used to"
My order showed up a bit later than I expected, and the tracking didn’t update as quickly as it has with other orders I’ve placed before. That said, everything did arrive in good condition in the end, so it wasn’t a huge issue.
